Andy's a musician.  Lisa teaches second grade.  They've lived together for six years and everybody knows they're going to get married pretty soon.  So when Andy returns from a concert tour with "something worth discussing," Lisa is ready to see a diamond.

But Andy has news of a different sort.  While on the road, he met one of his "Top Five"- the list of five celebrities you're allowed to sleep with if you ever have the chance.  So he did.  Because he thought that was a real thing, and not a funny thing you talk about when you're drunk at a party but don't actually mean.

Lisa determines that two wrongs don't make a right, but they do make it even, and the only way she can save her relationship is by seeking out, meeting, and seducing one of her Top Five celebrity hunks.  So she buys a bus ticket and boards with a selection of slutty clothes from Wet Seal, in search of the peace of mind one can only find from a random sexual encounter with a famous person one has never met.
