A Comedy in Two Acts.  3 M / 2 F

Maggie and Brandon are about to become parents- they're just waiting for a phone call.  The birth mother of their adopted child is due sometime Christmas week, so they won't be traveling for the holidays.  They've asked their families to keep their distance until the baby's born, and are looking forward to a quiet Christmas Day, opening presents and waiting by the phone.

Of course, no one keeps their distance.

First Brandon's father visits with his new wife, plus Brandon's big brother and his wife, then Brandon's mother arrives with her dry cleaner, his husband, and her favorite author, and then Maggie's family arrives with her ultra-competitive sister and her husband.  Four actors play all three families.

Brandon and Maggie try to maintain traffic control on a hectic holiday, but what happens when the birth mother goes into labor, and everyone converges on the hospital, meeting her family?

This lightning-paced quick change holiday farce celebrates families of all kinds, with a lovely reminder that we're all more alike than we realize.
