On a cold winter's night, shop owner Erin (Ali Liebert) discovers a baby carriage that's been left behind in her store. Inside, she finds baby Nicholas, alongside a note to Erin and her wife, Kelly (Kat Barrell), asking them to take care of him.

Instantly, the couple finds themselves navigating the winding path of foster parenting during the store's busiest season, theatrical set designer Kelly prepares to open a Christmas show, and they attempt to solve the mystery of who the baby's mother is. When all of their family and friends rally to make a home for Nicholas possible, Kelly and Erin discover that fostering baby isn't just creating a family of three- they're connecting a community.
